TD is unusual among Canadian banks in that its own documentation is explicit about the export: on the EasyWeb Account Activity page you pick a time period, scroll to the bottom, and choose Spreadsheet (.CSV) from the download dropdown. What TD's help pages do not promise is that every account type offers it, and the Statements and Documents area — where TD says you can reach up to seven years of history — hands you PDFs only. So the further back you go, and the further you get from a plain chequing account, the more likely it is that a PDF is all you have. TD statements print cheque numbers and a running balance, which gives the conversion two independent things to check itself against.
- The seven-year EasyWeb PDF archive is usable, so a statement older than the CSV download window still converts.
- Cheque numbers land in the Reference column rather than being mixed into the description text.
- Withdrawals and deposits stay separate, mapping to Debit and Credit so no amount flips sign.
- Credit card statements convert too, even though EasyWeb presents card activity by statement cycle rather than by date range.
