Bank of Baroda is one of the few Indian banks whose own internet banking offers Excel and TXT downloads alongside PDF — the bank documents downloading a searched transaction list via Excel, PDF or TXT icons. The catch is that the other official route, requesting a statement through the bob World app, delivers a password-protected PDF to your email instead, so plenty of BoB history still only exists as encrypted PDFs. Those statements are also where the awkward layout lives: BoB's particulars column carries long transfer narratives that run past the column width, and dates and descriptions sit close enough together that careless extraction merges them into one unusable field. A running balance is printed alongside, which is what makes the conversion checkable.
